About Me

1

I completed my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from George Washington University, Masters of Teaching (K-8) from the University of Virginia, and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Vermont. Prior to entering the field of psychology, I taught a variety of subjects and grade levels at both public and private schools for over a decade.

A native Washingtonian, I completed my pre-doctoral internship at the Psychiatric Institute of Washington, an in-patient psychiatric facility, where I provided individual and group therapy, as well as psychological assessments. My post-doctoral training was at the Kingsbury Center, a school for children and adolescents with learning disabilities. Since entering private practice, I have furthered my training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Couples Therapy, and the needs of divorcing/divorced families.

I am currently licensed in both Maryland and the District of Columbia. I provide individual therapy to adolescents and adults with a wide array of presenting concerns as well as couples therapy. I also provide a broad range of services for families at various stages of the divorce process.
